A pre-Christmas cracker with Go West and Nik Kershaw

Go West and Nik Kershaw

Amazing time tonight at Indigo at The O2, watching two of my favourite 80s artists, Nik Kershaw and Go West, perform tracks old, new and borrowed. Love the way their voices combined and the fact that they’re all obviously good mates and wanted to make sure we had the best possible time (which we did; I mean honestly, could there be a better way to kick start the Christmas festivities?). Best of all, they finished the night with a rousing rendition of what are surely two of the most evocative 80s songs ever: ‘I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ and ‘King of Wishful Thinking’. Blub.
